Martini
The Classico martini features Ford’s gin or Albany vodka, and Dolin dry vermouth. It is stirred and served up, accompanied with a sidecar and garnished with both a lemon twist and olives. We typically serve vodka martinis in our classic martini glass, and gin martinis in our Nick & Nora.
The Perfetto uses Albany vodka and both dry and sweet vermouth. It is stirred and served in a martini glass with a lemon twist.
Our classic Vesper combines Albany, Ford’s, cocchi americano bianco (a white aromatized wine), and orange bitters; served in a Nick & Nora glass with a lemon twist. The Late Vesper is our winter variation, with Isolation Proof gin, orange vermouth derived from natural wine, Albany vodka, and orange bitters — also poured in a Nick & Nora but with an orange twist. Nota Bene: the Vesper was invented by author Ian Fleming for his iconic character, James Bond.
The Espresso Martini uses Albany vodka, espresso, sugar, & Vicario coffee liqueur; shaken and strained in a Georgian glass with a dusting of espresso salt.
A Gibson is the classic martini’s savory cousin—using gin, dry vermouth, and a spoonful of onion brine. The Gibson is served in a Nick & Nora glass with a cocktail onion to garnish.
Here are some common requests from guests ordering a martini off-menu:
A dry martini reduces the amount of vermouth to five parts gin or vodka, one part dry vermouth. A wet martini goes heavy on the vermouth.
A dirty martini adds olive brine and reduces the amount of vermouth. Dirty martinis are always served with an olive garnish.
By default, martinis are stirred for 30 seconds, strained and served up — unless the guest asks for a shaken martini or a martini on the rocks.
