Menù del Caffè

Our espresso comes from Anèri coffee, wood-roasted in Florence since 1949. We serve espresso in our custom ceramic cups:

Single espresso

Doppio—double espresso

Americano—double espresso with hot water

Espresso macchiato—single espresso with two teaspoons of foamed milk. Stir the foam before scooping. The name translates to stained espresso.

Cappuccino—single espresso with steamed milk and foam

Latte macchiato—single espresso with steamed milk, served in a Collins glass. The latte macchiato uses more milk than the cappuccino.

The shakerato is espresso shaken with ice until frothy and smooth.

Caffè con la schiuma is the traditional way of sweetening coffee by whipping espresso with sugar to create a sweet foam. The foam is spread in the ceramic before drawing the espresso, as in the photo above. Stirring sugar into espresso causes it to cool; this method keeps the coffee hot. If a guest would like their espresso sweetened, offer caffè con la schiuma, a rich and enhanced sweetened espresso.

Often enjoyed after dinner or as a jumpstart to the day, Caffè Corretto is a shot of espresso with a splash of amaro or grappa. Caffè corretto translates to “corrected coffee” — a cheeky way of indicating that coffee is best served spiked.

Bianco Nero is the Italian version of an Irish coffee, with espresso, scotch, and Meletti cream — cream whipped with Meletti amaro.

We also serve decaf espresso and offer whole cow’s milk and oat milk. In an effort to avoid processed foods, we do not offer artificial sweeteners.

All espresso drinks should be served on a saucer with the handle to the right of the guest and a spoon just behind the handle. Please bring sparkling water on the side.
